The AI Club at CU Boulder wins the Colorado AI News "Pic of the Week" for this striking photo of its Executive Board posed in front of Boulder's snow-dappled foothills and iconic Flatirons.

Founded last fall, the AI Club's current leadership team has taken the group to new heights. The club now averages more than 100 attendees at its meetings, which typically feature guest speakers and are scheduled as often as every other week.

In discussions with the club's president, Coleman Sayers, vice president Brodie Pearson, director of member recruitment Max Lane, and director of operations Liam Ford, it was suggested that the AI Club might be the most active and engaged club on CU's campus.

In fact, the AI Club is scheduling even more frequent meetings in the weeks ahead, with a special, community-focused, AI careers event planned for the afternoon of Friday, April 25. More information regarding the details of this event will be forthcoming on the group's website as the date draws closer.

Tied in with the April event, the club is actively forming partnerships with community businesses to provide internship and externship opportunities for its members on an ongoing basis.

The group's leadership made a special point of wanting to call attention to the strong support they've received from their faculty sponsors, professors Jeremiah Contreras and Al Pisano.

The full Executive Board of the AI Club can be seen in the photo above. From left to right, Vice President Brodie Pearson, Steel Wylie, President Coleman Sayers, Corbin Salinas, Max Lane, Charlie Seck, Liam Ford, Samantha Lopes, and Sam Hutchinson.
