If you’re an experienced RAI Engineer with a Responsible AI background, Accenture would like to hear from you.
As a Responsible AI Engineer, you’re experienced in building state-of-the-art models to solve difficult business challenges, and you’ll also have at least a year’s experience looking at responsible aspects such as AI model Fairness, Transparency, Explainability, Robustness, Soundness and Privacy – preferably gained in a client-facing environment.
You’re a problem solver who is passionate about all things data. You’re excited by difficult modelling challenges, and you enjoy working with like-minded people who thrive on pushing the boundaries of the possible. You’re an outstanding technical specialist with the strong communication skills needed to liaise with your clients and your colleagues.

The work:
You’ll be a key player helping to deliver outstanding work for Accenture’s Responsible AI clients. Some of the areas you’ll be working in include:
- Developing and implementing AI models and solutions, focusing on ethical and responsible practices.
- Detecting, evaluating and applying relevant RAI dimensions (bias, fairness, robustness explainability etc.) in AI systems; work on mitigating the identified risks. Supporting client sales conversations and
- Optimizing and maintaining existing AI systems for enhanced performance and adherence to ethical standards.
- Participating in the full AI development lifecycle, including data preparation, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Contributing to the development of internal guidelines, best practices for responsible AI development and technical training.
- Staying updated with current AI trends, ethical considerations, and technological advancements
- Documenting AI development processes and maintain a transparent record of decisions and methodologies used.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100%, depending on business need and client requirements.
Here’s What You Need:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions (using algorithms such as Regression, Neural Networks, Tree Ensembles, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Text Mining, Computer Vision)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing in Python working in AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) related to AI
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Responsible AI (testing AI solutions for AI risks and relevant technical tools)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical fields or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Professional Skills Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members
- Commitment to ethical AI development and continuous learning in the field
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge in emerging data and AI regulations and standards
- Experience using and building GenAI solutions (via prompt engineering, RAG models, fine tuning etc.)
- Experience with designing and implementing GenAI/AI Solution Technical Architectures on cloud platforms
- Experience with cybersecurity, red teaming practices, etc.
- Specialization in an industry (Healthcare, Life Sciences, Communications, Retail, Financial services, etc.)
- Cloud Certification from leading cloud providers (AWS, Google, Azure, Databricks, etc.)
- Responsible AI certification from reputable organizations (AIPP, etc.)
