As a Conversational AI Consultant for the Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team, you will work directly with Google Cloud’s most strategic customers on projects that transform business.
Additionally, you will contribute to Google’s innovations on the delivery of Conversational AI solutions for their customers and partners, and you will design virtual agent solutions to enable digital transformation, build conversational interfaces, co-develop virtual agent solutions with Google partners, and work with Google’s Cloud AI Development teams to build and drive excellence in its products.
The Professional Services team guides customers through the moments that matter most in their cloud journey and helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers, and software infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Lead virtual agent development engagements with strategic Google Cloud partners and customers, including stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and addressing deployment needs
- Design engaging conversational interfaces for Conversational AI (CCAI)
- Work with internal specialists, and Product and Software Development teams to package approaches, best practices, and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets
- Interact with Sales teams, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks and issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes
- Travel approximately 30% of the time for client engagements
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 7 years of experience in computational linguistics or software development
- Experience building chatbots or voicebots
- Experience working with customers, executives, and technical leads
- Ability to travel 30% of the time, as needed, for client engagements
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building chatbots or voicebots with Dialogflow, as well as launching chatbot or voicebot applications
- Experience building cloud-based conversational AI solutions
- Effective leadership and influencing skills in the application of AI or ML
- Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills
The base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$257,000, not including bonus, equity, and benefits.
